Joseph N. Costanzo, 76, of Smithfield, died Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence after a long illness. He was the husband of Joyce (Cambio) Costanzo. They had been married for 53 years.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Esther (Demetri) Costanzo.
Joe worked for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Newport for 37 years before his retirement. He had also been a part time instructor at New England Institute of Technology.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Sherri Costanzo and Kimberly Nelson and her husband, Josh and a sister, Carol McMahon.
His funeral services were private.
