Donald Leslie Tabor, 80, of Franklin since 1985, died peacefully on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn Elizabeth (Nielsen) Tabor since 1984.
Born in Needham on February 20, 1943, he was the son of the late Arnold Leslie and Thelma Cleveland (Silsby) Tabor.
Don grew up in Needham and graduated from Needham High School. He proudly served in the Navy from 1961-1964 and had two tours on the USS Enterprise as an airplane mechanic.
Don was a past master of the former Constellation Lodge while living in Needham.
Before his retirement, he worked as a local electrician for many years.
Along with his wife, Marilyn, Don enjoyed for many years camping at Bourne Scenic Park on the Cape Cod Canal, fishing and lobstering. He also enjoyed archery, snowmobiling, woodworking and model trains.
Private services will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
