Obituary

Lucille L. Taylor, 71, of Manchester, NH died July 2, 2006 surrounded by her family after a period of declining health.

Born May 7th, 1935 in Hyde Park, VT, she was the daughter of Percy and Doris (Flemming) Brown.

Prior to retirement, she had volunteered for Community Action Programs. Previously, she had been employed by Kendall and Hadley and also Adpac.

She was wonderful at needlework, knitting and enjoyed gardening. Among her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Maurice W. Taylor in 1997. She was also predeceased by a great-granddaughter Allison Scribner.

Members of her family include a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Gary Gobin of Bedford; three sons, Edward and his wife Susan Scribner of Montpellier, VT, Charles Ayers and fiancée Darlene of Epsom, and William Ayers of Litchfield; ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Audrey Marshia of Morrisville, VT; three brothers, Reginald Scribner of Rutland, VT, Stanley Scribner of Middlesex, VT, and Roger Scribner of Montpellier, VT; nephews, nieces, and cousins.

The funeral service was held Wednesday July 5, 2006 in the Lambert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford.
