Everett Afton Haney, 58 of Fitzgerald Ga, passed away Friday, December 15th, 2023, at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta surrounded by friends and family.
Memorial service to be held at a later date.
Everett was born November 7, 1965, to the late Leroy Haney and Evelyn Bowie. Originally from Canaan Maine, Everett was a jack of many trades from farming, mechanic and construction work, truck driving to A/C technician in the Army and what he enjoyed and spoke of the most, working in the Antique Auction business.
Everett enjoyed cooking, watching Nascar and Wrestling, listening to classic country music, holiday dinners and most of all spending time with his grandkids.
Everett is survived by; his Wife of 38 years, Suzanne Haney of Fitzgerald; Son Jacob Haney, Daughter Heather Brannen & James of Tifton; 3 Grandchildren Owen, Kamya and Nathan Brannen; Sisters Debbie Gilbert & Robert of Bristol New Hampshire, Wanda Seekins & Mike of Canaan Maine, Brothers, Albert Haney & Stephanie of Canaan Maine, Raymond Haney & Tammy of Arabi Georgia and Christopher Haney of Canaan Maine and many Cousins, Nieces and Nephews, Special friends, Alex Diakogiannis & Rhonda and all who adopted him as dad and grandad.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a Brother David Haney, Sisters Alice Morton and Margeret Haney.
