Phyllis K. (Faulkner) Klimkofski, 74 of Londonderry, NH passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. She was the widow of the late Joseph V. Klimkofski with whom she shared almost 54 years together before he passed away in April of this year.
She was born and raised in Lowell, a daughter of the late Charles J. Faulkner, and the late Kathena (Donnelly) Faulkner. She spent most of her life in Lowell, where she attended the Acre neighborhood schools. After high school graduation, she married Joseph and began their family.
Phyllis worked as an administrative secretary for many years, working at Wang Labs., Tewksbury State Hospital, and Solomons in Lowell.
She is survived by her two children, Katrina Klimkofski of Danville, NH and Joseph M. Klimkofski of Hudson, NH. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Corey Lynn Bouchard, Jacob Bouchard, Kirstin Klimkofski, and Lindsey Klimkofski, whom she loved dearly; and her great-grandson, Royce Joseph Salazar. Phyllis is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lana Klimkofski, who passed away on September 3, 1988.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 4 pm until 7 pm at the McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, MA.
A funeral procession will begin from the funeral home on Wednesday morning at 10 am at the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 am at Saint Anthony’s Church, 893 Central Street, Lowell. Burial will take place at the Lowell Cemetery.
