Ken Kaufman, 75, of Natick, formerly of Needham, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2023 following a long and hard-fought health battle.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Barbara, his cherished children Emily and Matt, his daughter-in-law Jessica, and his granddaughter Chloe.
Ken was born and raised in Connecticut and New York, and later graduated from Hofstra University. His distinguished career as a retail buyer spanned many years and included positions at Gimbels in New York, Macy's in Ohio, Target in Minnesota, and Zayre in Massachusetts. He later went on to hold the position of National and International Sales Manager at Cupid International.
Throughout his life, Ken was a lover of history, crossword puzzles, and sarcasm, though it was his family that brought him the most joy. He found great satisfaction in coaching the sports teams of his beloved children during their younger years, and when not coaching, he was an overzealous fan on the sidelines. Ken was a devoted family man, and everything he did was in service of his family or to bring laughter to those around him.
Ken will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and his memory will continue to live on. Services will be held privately.
