Clifford F. Andrews, 65, a resident of Hanson, MA and West Charleston, VT, passed away on December 18, 2023, at Colony Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Abington, MA after a long illness.
Cliff was born in Brockton and raised in Hanson. He was the son of Phyllis M. Andrews (French) and the late Robert H. Andrews. Cliff was a graduate of Whitman Hanson High School, a member of the class of 1976, where he studied carpentry and woodworking. Cliff worked many jobs in the carpentry field and was self-employed for many years. He
also worked in the cabinetry business and later specialized in AutoCAD. When he moved to Vermont, he returned to his preferred trade of carpentry, until his illness limited his abilities.
Cliff was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, working with his tractor, as well as riding atvs. Cliff was a car enthusiast too, especially with his Ford trucks. In later years he was an active participant in Rock Steady Boxing at 110 Fitness.
Cliff is survived by his loving mother, Phyllis M. Andrews of Hanson, his loving sister Cynthia Elghonamy of Halifax, his five brothers; Robert of Jonesboro, ME, Gordon of Halifax, Laurence of Watertown, Eugene of Hanson, Philip of Toccoa, GA, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his wife Claudia, son Joshua, grandson Aiden
all of W. Charleston, VT and his son Jeremiah of MA.
Family and friends are invited to attend Clifford’s visiting hours Wednesday December 27th, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, with a 12:00 PM service in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. A burial will follow at Fern Hill Cemetery, Hanson. A Masonic service will be held @ 11:30AM
