FALL RIVER … John F. “JT” Tolan, Jr., 65, of Pleasant Street, Fall River died Sunday, July 2, 2006 after a brief illness.
He was the former husband of Barbara A. (Ferreira) Tolan of Fall River.
He was born in Fall River a son of the late John F. Sr. and Mary (Belshaw) Tolan and had lived in the Fall River Tiverton area all of his life.
He was a supervisor with Globe Manufacturing retiring in 1999 after 31 years with the company.
Mr. Tolan was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary Post 486, Fall River and he enjoyed fishing and pool.
Survivors include his former wife, 2 sons: Robert Tolan and William Tolan both of Tiverton, RI, a daughter Mary Ann Baptista of Fall River, 8 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, his best friend Stella Silvester of Fall River. He was the brother of the late Edward Tolan.
Memorial Mass Saturday July 8, 2006 at 11AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Church at Holy Cross Parish, Fall River.
