Leslie C. (Sharpe) Ellsworth, 87, of Derry, NH died Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center, where she resided in Derry, NH. She was born in Cambridge, MA on December 20, 1935, to Frederick R. and Christine M. (O’Connor) Neall.
Leslie lived and worked for many years in Derry, NH at H.E. Harris Stamp Company and then Hadco before working and retiring from McCord-Winn in Manchester, NH in 1997. Upon retirement, she enjoyed serving as a volunteer at Pleasant Valley Nursing Center and at the local Meals on Wheels in Derry, NH.
She is survived by her son, Ernest C. Sharpe, Jr. and his wife Penny, two grandsons Jordan and Nicholas Sharpe of Derry, NH, two nieces (Kimmi Forbes and Giselle McAlister), and one nephew (Michael McAlister). She was predeceased by her first husband, Ernest C. Sharpe, Sr. in 1992, her second husband, Robert B. Ellsworth in 2011, and her two sisters, Debra McAlister, and Joyce Fowler, nephew Neall O’Connor, and niece Kellie O’Connor.
Following cremation, a calling hour will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 from 6–7 pm with a prayer service to follow at 7:00 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH.
