DUDLEY – Cecilia T. (Grochowski) Kwiecinski, 78, of 92 Mason Road, died Sunday, July 2, at home. Her husband of 30 years, John B. Kwiecinski, Sr., died in 1975.
She leaves 2 daughters, Ann K. Gaumond of State College, PA and Cecilia V. Brouillet of East Douglas, and a son, John B. Kwiecinski, Jr. of Dudley. She was preceded in death by her brother Ernest Grochowski.
She was born and raised in Southbridge, the daughter of Stanley and Anne (Noga) Grochowski, and lived in Dudley since her marriage in 1945. She graduated from Mary E. Wells High School in Southbridge.
Mrs. Kwiecinski was a clerk at Price Chopper in Webster for many years. She was a member of St. Andrew Bobola Church and the St. Joseph Polish Women’s Club of St. Joseph Basilica in Webster.
A memorial Mass will be held Friday, July 7, at 11:00 AM in St. Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main St. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. Donations in her name may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Funeral arrrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., Webster.
