FALL RIVER… Robert S. Shepardson, 77, of Fall River, MA passed away, Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at home.
He was born in Attleboro and grew up in Plainville, a son of the late Marshall and Verna (Proal) Shepardson and was a Fall River resident since 1995. He previously had spent many years living in South Carver, MA where he thrived in his role as a cranberry bog foreman. Robert proudly served our country as a member of the United States Army.
Robert earned an associate degree from Bristol Community College in 1997, enhancing his expertise in computers and software. Shep, as he was affectionately known, cherished time spent with friends and family, often proudly sharing stories about his daughters, grandson, life experiences, and family.
His love for music, particularly classic rock, was well known and he spent countless hours at home spinning vinyl records. As an avid nature enthusiast and animal lover, Robert found great joy being outdoors. His diverse interests also included art, cooking, and the intellectual pursuits of geometry and geography.
Fondly remembered for his infectious sense of humor, Robert had a special talent for making others laugh, leaving behind a legacy of joy and warmth in the hearts of those who knew him. In celebrating his life, we remember a man of many passions and a friend to all who knew him.
Survivors include 3 daughters: Jessica Shepardson; Norma Shepardson; Sarah Shepardson all of New Bedford; 2 brothers: Steve Shepardson of CT; Richard Shepardson of NH; and a grandson Dylan Sylvia. He was the brother of the late John Shepardson.
