Brian K. Farr, 73, of Osterville, MA passed away peacefully on December 11, 2023.
Born in Medford, MA on July 2, 1950, Brian was the son of the late Priscilla Alden Murray (O’Neil) and Donald F. Farr and the stepson of Richard Murray. He grew up and attended school in Weymouth, MA before graduating from Xaverian Brothers HS in 1967. He had various jobs until retiring from Barnstable Public Schools.
Brian is survived by his daughter Kelly Mulvehill of Norton, MA and his son Brian Farr and his partner Jennifer Hartman of Easton, MA, his brother Michael Farr and his wife Regina of Halifax, MA, and his niece Jennifer Farr of Avon, MA.
He was the proud grandfather to his six grandchildren Jack, Taylor, and Nicholas Mulvehill and Ashleigh, Cody, and Ava Farr. He was a great grandfather to Ryker Carballo.
Brian was well known for his sense of humor, love for dogs, music, dancing, and sports, as well as traveling. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends and all who knew him.
The family expresses gratitude to the staff at Windsor Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center of S. Yarmouth as well as VNA Hospice Care of the Cape.
A celebration of life for Brian will be held on December 28, 2023 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Assumption Church 76 Wianno Ave. Osterville, MA 02766.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
