Hubbardston, MA - On the evening of Monday, December 11, 2023, Bill passed away peacefully after suffering a stroke. Bill was being visited and comforted by family members at Heywood Hospital, Gardner, MA when he passed. He was 81 years old.
Bill was born on October 24, 1942 in Williamsburg, VA to Robert Foreman Halliday and Audria Severance Halliday. He grew up in Long Island, NY
Bill worked for the Gates Rubber Company for 30 years. He believed in the importance of working hard and taking care of his family. He also loved being home, spending time with his family, and going out to eat.
Baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1988, Bill enjoyed spending time at the Kingdom Hall, with friends from his congregation, and in the ministry.
Bill is survived by his wife of 53 years Elza Halliday (Araujo) and 2 daughters; Lisa Weigel along with her husband Todd, and Daniella David along with her husband Joshua. He also leaves his beloved granddaughter Julianna Wunch (Jaciow), his twin brother Robert Halliday and his wife Elaine, sister Susanne Halliday, and sister Jeanne Hylton and her husband Donald.
Services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 from 2:00 - 3:00 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses
1275 Central Street, Leominster MA.
