MULHERN, Daniel M. Age 86, of Duxbury, formerly of Lowell, Newton, and Naples, FL, December 12, 2023. Beloved husband of 57 years to the late Marialice T. (Quinn) Mulhern. Devoted and loving father of Daniel M. Mulhern Jr. of Duxbury and the late Meghan L. Mulhern Nyberg of Lovell, ME. Loving son of the late Patrick and Eileen (Driscoll) Mulhern. Loving brother of Eileen Tirpak and her husband Dennis of Washington, D.C., the late Edward Mulhern and his surviving wife Mary P. (Hearn) of Natick, the late Thomas Mulhern and his late wife Donna Beth (Burke) of Needham, the late Kevin Mulhern and his surviving wife Terri of AZ, and the late Patrick Mulhern and his late wife Marylou of FL.
He was a graduate of Merrimack College in Andover and the former owner of the Pollard Exchange Building at 67 Middle St., Lowell. In the 1970’s and 80’s he was co-owner of Mr. C’s Rock Palace (formally known as the Commodore Ballroom) which was also located in Lowell. In the 1990’s Daniel was the owner of a successful chain of physical therapy clinics in the Greater Northeast Metro area of MA. He was well known for his generosity, kindness and quick Irish wit. In his spare time he enjoyed being with his family, friends, and was an avid golfer. He will be greatly missed.
A private funeral service will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham on Wednesday, Dec. 20. A private interment will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Tewksbury.
