James F. Pitts, 79, of Westport passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at home. He was the husband of Eileen (Clement) Pitts.
Mr. Pitts was born in Fall River, son of the late Frank and Winifred (Farrell) Pitts and had been a longtime resident of Westport. Prior to retirement, he worked as a tool maker for Reed & Barton, Taunton for over 40 years.
Survivors along with his wife include his son: Timothy Pitts of Westport; his 2 daughters: Kelly Pitts and Tracy Pitts, both of Westport; 4 grandchildren: Kristen Burke, Jackson Burke, Taylor Pitts and Kyle Pitts; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was the grandfather of the late Matthew Pitts and brother of the late Mike Pitts and Pat Lamond.
His family remembers him as a man of love and integrity.
