Joanna A. Ricciuti, age 79, of Medford passed away on Wednesday, December 13th, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late James J. and Anita J. (Lorbati) Ricciuti. Joanna worked for many years as a bookkeeper alongside her significant other, the late Thomas Zazzara. She lived in Medford since 1988, and enjoyed visiting and working in Boston’s North End. Joanna’s favorite pastimes where shopping (even if she returned most of what she bought) and helping with her grandchildren.
Joanna was the devoted mother of Robert J. Turner and his fiance, Kristy Logue of Medford, and Jacqueline Hadaya of Malden. She was the loving grandmother of Jalie Cuoco, Justin A. Hadaya and Jackson C. Hadaya. Joanna was the dear sister of Carole Corner and her husband Richard of Canton, Anita L. Ricciuti-Coolen and her husband Harry of Mesa, Arizona, and Elise Nagy of Hull. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
