Jason Dubois, 43, of Salem, passed away at the Salem Hospital on December 3, 2023. He was the son of Andrea Labrecque of Salem.
Jason was raised in Salem and growing up enjoyed long hikes in the woods, picnics and family gatherings. Another favorite pastime was fishing with his pepere, his times at the cape with his cousins and skiing in New Hampshire was always an adventure. Jason was a graduate of Salem High School and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Salem State University and Master’s in Psychology from Cambridge College. He went on to be a clinician for Catholic Charities and Malden Behavior Health.
Jason always made sure that his memere and pepere were well cared for and not lacking for anything. He continued throughout his life to be Kind and helpful to the elderly. His pride and joy were his two daughters, Morgan and Paysen. He attended their many basketball and soccer games, as well as spending time with them at the Salem Willows and jogging through the Lynn Woods. He and his dog Nellie were often seen taking long walks.
In addition to his mother Andea, he leaves his former wife, Jacqueline Murphy, his daughters Morgan and Paysen, his sister Michelle Dubois and husband Eddie Nolan of Lynn, Aunts, Jeanne Paskowsky and husband Richard of Andover, Carmen & Therese Labrecque of Salem, Monique Labrecque of Sanbornton, NH, and uncle George Labrecque, Jr. of New Brunswick as well as several cousins and his dog Nellie. A special thanks to his cousin and dear friend Sarah Frassica and his best friend, Janelle. He was predeceased by his grandparents, George and Fernande Labrecque.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Mass of Christian Burial at Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM, to be followed by his committal service in St. Mary Cemetery, 226 North St., Salem.
