We are heartbroken to share that our mother, Ann (Froburg) Eldred departed her loving family on December 10th, 2023. Ann was born in Reading, Mass on January 14, 19, 1938 to the late Frank and Mary Froburg of Ballardvale. She was married to her husband, James Eldred Sr for 64 years until his untimely passing.
Ann worked at West Junior High, in Andover for many years as a Paraprofessional. In 1985, Ann and Jim sold the family home in Andover and bought AJ's Country Store, in Twin Mountain, NH. Working tirelessly, they moved back to Methuen in 1993. Ann lived in Methuen Senior Housing for many years. She was involved with many social activities and loved the senior community, making many friends.
Ann will be remembered for her love of family, her sharp memory, her gift of gab, the life of the party and non-stop laughing.
Her family includes; Andrea (Dwight) Hasty of South Berwick, ME; James Joseph Eldred Jr (Debbie) of Lynn, Maureen (Richard) Daigle of Methuen, as well as grandchildren James (Katie) and Trevor Hasty, Kim and James Joseph Eldred III; Courtney and Justin Daigle, Sebastian, Nicholas, and Ayla Eldred; great grandchildren Willow Hasty and her baby brother expected in June. Her siblings; Beverly Lord, Frank Froburg, Philip Froburg and Tom Froburg, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her loving husband, Jim, Her parents: Mary and Frank Froburg, her son, Steven, brother Fred Froburg, sister-in-law, Donelda Froburg and her sister Judy Jacobson.
Our family would like to extend our gratitude to the staff at Nevins in Methuen for the care and compassion shown to our mother during this time.
Ann will be missed by her dearest friends, Elaine, Judy, Gail, and Marianne, along with so many more!
