Mary (Gwozdz) Long, 102, of Westport, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Hathaway Manor. She was the wife of the late William T. Long.
Mrs. Long was born in Westport, daughter of the late John and Mary (Polklopck) Gwozdz and had been a longtime resident of Westport. She began each and every day with a smile and her kindness was felt by all who knew her.
Survivors include her son: William T. Long and his wife Virginia of Westport; her daughter: Dianne R. Manley and her husband Charles of Dartmouth; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and with many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Waldy, Nellie, Frank, Chuck, Stephanie, John Jr., Bridget, Stanley, Jennie and Helen.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, December 19, 2023 from the Potter Funeral Home at 10 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 11 A.M.
Calling hours Monday from 5-8 P.M.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
