Obituary

SUTTON___Elizabeth B. Bauer, 69, formerly, Elizabeth B. Colorio, passed away on Saturday, December 9, 2023 in her home.

She is survived by two sons, Michael F. Colorio, Jr., and his wife Tara A. Colorio of Millbury and Christopher E. Colorio and his wife Jillian J. Colorio of Sutton; five grandchildren, Piper, Beckett, Ainsley, Michael and Edward, two brothers, Thaddeus “Ted” Bauer and his wife, JoAnn and Edward J. Bauer and his wife, Nancy and several nieces and nephews. Elizabeth was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Roman and Christine (Sierak) Bauer and has lived in Sutton for several years.

Ms. Bauer was a Registered Nurse many years at St. Vincent Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit. She was a gifted researcher having her work published in the Library of Congress. A gifted artist and pianist playing Mechanics Hall at a very young age. Elizabeth absolutely adored and lived for her grandchildren, she attended every event and game but especially loved watching them play hockey where she was a well known super fan of the Jr Crusaders. She had been a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Worcester.

The funeral will be held on Thursday December 14, 2023 with a Mass at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Burial will be private in Notre Dame Cemetery.
