Doreen R. Del Selva, 93, of Oakridge Road, North Scituate, passed away on Saturday December 9th in the Stillwater Health Care Center, Greenville. She was the wife of the late John E. Del Selva.
Born in Warwick, a daughter of the late Albert and Doris (Henrey) Cambio. She had lived in Scituate for 60 years previously living in Providence. She had worked at Sardelli and Sons for 5 years before retiring.
Doreen liked golfing, arts and crafts, and visiting patients at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.
She leaves her children, John Del Selva II and Steven Del Selva, both of North Scituate, Lorrene Raynoha, of Las Vegas, Nevada; Richard Del Selva, of Sandwich, Massachusetts; and her youngest brother of seven, Ronald Cambio of West Warwick; her grandson, Cody Raynoha, of Las Vegas, Nevada; her granddaughter Cassondra Del Selva of Stuart, Florida; her grandson Michael Del Selva, of Miami, Florida; her grandson Evan Del Selva of Monks Corner, South Carolina: and four great-grandchildren: Paisley Marks, Coltenn Del Selva, Lola Del Selva and Benedict Raynoha.
Her funeral will be held Saturday December 16 at 10:30am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. A Funeral Service will be held at 11am in the Chapel at Highland Park, Johnston. Burial will follow. Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 9:30am to 10:30am.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Trinity Episcopal Church.
