Jean (Pucci) Maffeo, 91, passed away on December 10, 2023, after a brief illness. Jean was born in Malden, MA, to Joseph and Geraldine (Berardi) Pucci, on January 5, 1932. She survived her late husband, Joseph Maffeo, of 66 years.
Jean is survived by her brother William and sister-in-law Rosalie Pucci, her son Dennis and daughter-in-law Donna(Wood) Maffeo, her grandson Joseph R. Maffeo and his wife Aby, and her granddaughter Hannah. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jean was a full-time homemaker who loved entertaining family and friends. She lived most of her life in Malden, MA, until moving to Tewksbury, MA, in 2001. Jean loved spending time with her grandchildren. Jean also loved to travel and spent many vacations in Colorado and Las Vegas, along with the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
A wake will be held at the Tewksbury Funeral Home on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. During the visitation, a service will be held at 6:30 p.m., no funeral mass will be held.
