Linda Rae Foster, 83, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Monday, December 11, 2023, at her residence.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Ashton Jackson and the Rev. Dusty Stoey officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from, 5 PM until 7 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Foster was born September 21, 1940. In Miami, Florida, to the late Clifford & Sherma Mercedes Lowe Kenniston. She was a loan processor in the banking industry and worked for Standard Supply as a bookkeeper. Mrs. Foster like to shop, loved flowers, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her church. She was a member of Crossview Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Archie Foster of Ocilla; two children: Sharon Myers & Greg of Sycamore and Todd Foster; two grandchildren: Ethan Myers & Chelsey and Colt Myers & Mary Cathrine; four great-grandchildren: Asher Harpe, Wyatt James Myers, Callie Mae Myers and Walker James Myers; a brother, Alan Kenniston & Deloris of Newnan; a niece, Debbie Gollihugh of Newnan and special friends: Bonnie Foster, Clairece Lott, and Denise Jones.
Flowers will be accepted, but the family suggests donations be made to Hospice of Tift Area, 618 North Central Ave., Tifton, Georgia, 31794 or Crossview Baptist Church, P. O. Box 413, Fitzgerald, Georgia, 31750.
