Dorothy E. "Dottie" (Bartlett) Dwyer, age 90, of Woburn, formerly of Winchester, passed away on December 9, 2023.
Born in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late Adelbert and Dorothy (Goodnough) Bartlett. Dottie was raised and educated in Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn High School. She started work in the 1950’s at New England Telephone in Boston and later worked as a clerk for Peterson Chair in Winchester before becoming a cashier at Stop and Shop in Winchester, where she made countless friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting hats and scarves.
Dottie was the beloved mother of John P. Dwyer and his wife Tammy of WI, Gary M. Dwyer and his partner Eric Kent of Boston. She was also the devoted grandmother of Patrick Dwyer and his wife Ashley, and Jessica Dwyer, the great-grandmother of Ian and Lillian Dwyer, the dear sister of the late Robert Bartlett, Frederick Bartlett and Joanne Dunivan and is further survived by several nieces and nephews.
