Obituary

Nataliya Tkachenko, of West Roxbury, passed away on December 8, 2023 surrounded by her family at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston, after a prolonged fight with a lethal illness.

Born in Soviet Union/Ukraine in 1950 she was a beloved mother and wife, a passionate pianist, performer, and music educator, who established herself as an accomplished piano player and pedagogue in many countries across the world throughout her eventful life. For the past 20 years she lived and worked in the United States and continued to give piano lessons until shortly before her death. She has influenced many talented young musicians in the Boston area and across the world and helped many turn their interest in music into successful music careers. Her students won numerous music awards in various music competitions, including Russian Music Competition Grand Prize awards in the US.

She is survived by her loving children, son Vlad Revin, daughter Svetlana Revina and granddaughter, Maya Revina Vitsev. Her beloved husband Vyacheslav Revin died in 2016 after 38 years of marriage.

Visiting hours will be held at Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury on Thursday, December 14th from 4 PM to 8 PM.

Church services will be held at Holy Epiphany Russian Orthodox Church, 963 South Street, Roslindale on Friday, December 15th at 12 – noon.

Interment will be held at St. Joseph Cemetery, 990 Lagrange Street, West Roxbury on Friday, December 15th at 1PM.
