Stephen A. “Harvey” Schwartz, 66, of Citrus Heights, CA, formerly of Smithfield, RI, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2023. He is survived by his wife Robin Schwartz of Citrus Heights, CA, his sisters Catherine Schwartz of North Providence, RI and Carol Schwartz of North Providence, RI, his brother Christopher Schwartz (Lee) of Cranston, RI, and his sister-in-law Carrie Schwartz (Thomas) of Chepachet, RI. He was predeceased by his parents Allen B. and Lena Schwartz of Smithfield RI and brothers Thomas J. Schwartz (Carrie) of Chepachet, RI and James A. Schwartz of Scituate, RI. Stephen is also survived by his nephew AJ Schwartz and his nieces Ariana Schwartz, Marissa Ragan, Kristin Frost, Lauren Hayek and Ella Schwartz as well as 11 grand-nieces and nephews.
Stephen earned a bachelor’s degree in musical performance (trumpet) from the Boston Conservatory of Music and played for many years with R&B bands before starting his career in seafood sales. Stephen traveled the country, finishing his career with Lamonica Foods, NJ. Stephen loved to golf, especially with his dad when visiting RI. He was always the life of the party and will be missed by many. Services were private. Donations in Stephen’s name to the National Kidney Foundation or American Heart Association are appreciated.
