Edward D. Logue, a longtime resident of Woburn passed away peacefully, Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at the E.N. Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford. He was 84. Born in Woburn he was the son of the late Francis J. and Katherine (Leary) Logue.
Edward was raised and educated in Woburn and was a graduate of Woburn High School. He went on to further his education attending Northeastern University. Edward was a proud United States Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War. When he returned home to civilian life, he worked for a number of years with WBZ Radio doing commercials. He also worked for a number of years as a Customer Service Representative for Market Basket and in his later years he worked in the Transportation Industry as a Personal Driver for M7 Transportation Worldwide of Burlington. In his leisure time and throughout his life, Edward was passionate about photography.
Edward was the cherished brother of the late Francis J. Logue Jr., William D. Logue and his surviving wife Elena of Lynn, the late Lucille Reed and Natalie Maes. He was the longtime friend of Mary Courage of Newburyport. Uncle of William Logue Jr. and his family, Elaine Lepage and her family and is survived by several more nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Saturday, December 16th, at 12 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
