Enver Shini, 82, of Worcester passed away peacefully in his home Sunday, December 10th surrounded by his loving family.
Enver leaves behind two daughters, Alma Manxhari of Holden and her husband Arben Manxhari and Desantila Shini of Worcester; a son, Fatjon Shini of Worcester; three grandchildren, Polikseni Manxhari Iudiciani of Upton and her husband Michael Iudiciani, Kledis Koci and Jason Manxhari; and three dogs that he loved, Toby, Oliver, and Darby.
A beloved father, he brought warmth and joy to the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. Born in Diber, Albania, Enver was recognized early on for his scholastic performance. He was recruited to teach around the country while still finishing his own high school education. Later, he was recruited into the Albanian Ministry of Defense where he worked as a higher government official for more than 30 years.
His visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 12th from 5:00pm until 7:00pm in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Family and friends are welcome to gather on Wednesday, December 13th from 10:30am until 11:30am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster Street.
