Kathryn Mary Boudreau of Weymouth, 50 years of age, passed away on December 6, 2023, after a brief illness. Katie grew up in Milton where she excelled at sports, school suspensions, and raising the decibel level wherever she went. She attended St Agatha’s in Milton followed by Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree, before earning an associate’s degree from Quincy College. Her personality was a tour de force, either striking laughter, instilling fear, eliciting unabashed passion, or evoking heartfelt sincerity depending on her whim.
Katie excelled at creating and posting absurd memes, and at sharing entirely inappropriate humor, but more than that, she had a true passion for group text messages that included unusually large numbers of people from multiple time zones. When she wasn’t online entertaining her legion of Facebook fanatics, she was a true advocate for people in recovery and a firm believer in God, reconnecting with her faith in her adult years. She found solace in the Lord. And through that solace and worthy affirmation she was inspired to assist others in various recovery programs. Through this faith, and over many years, she helped scores of people get into recovery to get the care that they dearly needed. She was also phenomenal with children, spending many of her professional years employed in childcare. Above all else, Katie absolutely adored time spent with her family, cherishing each opportunity, and her family, in turn, adored and valued their time spent with her.
Katie is predeceased by her adoring son Ryan, vivacious mother Denise, as well as her dedicated grandparents, all of whom she loved intently and missed sincerely. She is survived by her ever-loyal father Walter, her four devoted brothers Gil, Marc, Greg, and Daniel, loving nieces and nephews, and close-knit cousins and extended family living throughout New England as well as in Florida, Ohio, and Arizona. And boyfriend Scott St Martin.
