John W. Sewell, age 76, of Medford passed away on Monday, November 27th. Born and raised in Lynn, he was the son of the late Carl J. and Kathleen M. (Noonan) Sewell, and her second husband, Frank Dusseault. John was a graduate of Lynn English High School, and proudly served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a longtime Medford resident and was employed as a software engineer.
John was the beloved husband of the late Jane C. (Faraci) Sewell, and the devoted father of Peter J. Sewell of Medford, his daughter Haley and his fiancée Christi Cervera, and Christopher Sewell and his wife Derrin Giles of Stoneham. He was the dear brother of Kathleen Sweeney of Florida and the late Carleen Brown, and is survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
According to John’s wishes, all funeral services will be private.
