Lucy L. (Tripp) Lord, 87, of Westport passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at St. Anne's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Thomas V. Lord.
Born in Westport, daughter of the late John H. and Berthe (Benoit) Tripp, she had lived in Westport for most of her life. Prior to retirement, she worked for the Town of Westport Board of Health.
Survivors include 4 sons: Thomas Lord and his wife MaryAnne of Westport, Quentin Lord of Westport, David Lord of Bridgewater and William Lord and his wife Lynn of Fall River; 3 daughters: Carol Borden and her husband J. of Westport, Catherine Lord of WA and Elizabeth Lord-Correia and her husband Richie of Fall River; a brother: John Tripp of Westport; 3 sisters: Juliette Fridley of FL, Gertrude Reed of Fall River and Sharon Mudge of Westport; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Lorraine Brochu and Wallace Tripp.
Services will be private.
