Marie F. (Correia) Cathcart, 86, of Dartmouth died December 4, 2023 at St. Luke's Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Vernon W. Cathcart.
Born in Fairhaven, daughter of the late John and Isabel (Pacheco) Correia, she lived in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
She was formerly employed by Aerovox for many years until her retirement.
In her free time you could find her sitting outside listening and watching the birds and feeding all her animal friends that would come visit her. She was an avid sports fan, loyal to the Boston Celtics and New England Patriots. Most imporantly she enjoyed spending time with her daughter and grandchildren especially while watching the Celtics together.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Haley; her granddaughter, Jennifer and her husband Nathan; her grandson, Michael and his wife Heather; and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Haley.
She is predeceased by her sister Isabel Perry and brother John "Bingo" Correia; and her son-in-law, SMSgt William Haley.
Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 18th at 10 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will follow in Cushing Cemetery.
