Margaret A. Calabresi passed away on Wednesday, December 6th at the Aberjona Nursing Center in Winchester. She was 100. Born and raised in Boston’s North End, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and the late Lena (Cataloni) Mongiello.
A Medford resident for the past 50 years, Margaret was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was dedicated to making her home a warm and prayerful place. She loved praying the Rosary and also enjoyed crocheting and cooking.
Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Zoro Calabresi. She was the devoted mother of the late Stephen Calabresi and his surviving wife Jean Calabresi. She was the dear sister of the late Joseph Mongiello and the late Mary Naples. She was the loving aunt of Joseph Mongiello and his wife Roberta, Patricia Howes and her husband Bradley, and James Mongiello. She also leaves many great nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday, December 13th from 10:30-11:30 AM, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
