James "Flash" Flaherty of South Boston passed away on December 5, 2023 at the age of 78.
Cherished son of the late Mary Happnie & Vincent X. Flaherty. Loving husband of Cathy “Stewie” Stewart. Father of Vincent J. Flaherty, the late Sean P, Flaherty, and the late James Scott Flaherty. He is also lovingly survived by extended family members and countless friends.
A Mass will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Church. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of James to American Cancer Society.
