Carol Ann Cuscia, 77, of Atkinson, NH, passed away Friday December 1, 2023, surrounded by her loving family in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH. She was born on October 11, 1946, in Lawrence, MA, a daughter of the late Sid and Dolores (Alvarez) Vela. Carol was raised and educated in Methuen and Lawrence, MA and has been a resident of Atkinson for the past 22 years. Carol was a wonderful, caring mother and sister. She was a great cook, loved gardening, sewing, making stain glass, and decorating her home.
She is survived by one son, Brian Cuscia of Haverhill, MA and her sister, M. Gloria Vela of Atkinson, NH. She was predeceased by a son, Aaron Cuscia in 2014.
Following cremation, there will be no services per Carol’s wishes. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
