GILFORD ---- Scott Timothy Sallies died suddenly on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at his home in Gilford, NH.
A lifelong resident of New Hampshire, born in Laconia Hospital on January 30, 1965, he was the son of David R. Sallies, Sr. and Katie Morse Sallies. He attended school at Meredith, NH, where he grew up.
Survivors include his brothers David R. Sallies II and his wife, Lola, of Webster, MA; Peter M. Sallies and his wife Kelly of Meredith, NH; Paul R. Sallies of North Carolina; and Steve B. Sallies of Tampa, FL. Surviving sisters include Bonny Sallies Morriss of Colorado Springs, CO; Darlene Sallies Ballou and her husband Ronald Ballou, Sr. of New Hampton, NH; Tammy Sallies Belyea of Ashland, NH; and Carol Sallies Mahol, Fall River, MA, and many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Also surviving are his aunt, Vera Pierce, of Laconia, NH and an uncle, Robert C. Sallies and his wife Margie, of Norway, ME and Meredith, NH.
He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Linda Sallies Clement, of Salem, NH and a brother, David Michael Sallies, of Belmont, NH.
Scott spent his adult life in landscape and construction work, mostly at Lakeside Landscaping in Laconia. He served as a Director of Robinson Burial Grounds in Meredith, NH.
He loved the out of doors and was happiest working outside. He loved his pets; both dogs and cats.
He had fond memories of traveling overseas to England, Jordan, and especially Israel and Egypt.
He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
A Graveside Service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Meredith.
