Kurtis L. Palmer Sr., age 54, passed away on December 2, 2023. He was born on January 10, 1969 in Holyoke and has been a lifelong resident. He is the son of Barbara (Bartusewich) Palmer. Kurtis worked as a carpenter with carpenter Union Local 108 for many years. He enjoyed listening to music and singing Karaoke but above all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by one daughter Samantha Palmer of Holyoke; two sons, Kurtis Palmer Jr and his girlfriend Ashley Goodyear of Westfield and Jason Palmer and his girlfriend Amber Torres of Holyoke; the mother of his children, Dawn Palmer of Holyoke; one sister, Kimberly Palmer of Holyoke and five beloved grandchildren, Javien, Adonis, Silas, Amaya and Toby. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
