Robert Allen Larson, 70, of Franklin died December 2 at home with family following a brief illness.
Born in Quincy, June 5,1953, the son of the late Frederick and Pauline (Blinn) Larson, Robert was raised in Whitman and had lived in Bridgewater and Milford prior to moving to Franklin. Robert retired after 24 years in the Army National Guard.
Robert had been an IT Specialist with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Adjutant General’s office for many years.
Robert loved the outdoors, he enjoyed hiking, biking and kayaking.
He is survived by his children, Jason Martin of Abington, Joel Larson of Dighton, Kendra Gonzalez of Chula Vista, California, and Anne-Marie Larson of Franklin. He was the father of the late Jonathan Larson.
He is also survived by his siblings, Carolyn Harriman of North Carolina, Juliana Kuffel of Wyoming, Bill Larson of Wyoming and Frederick Larson of Florida.
He was the brother of the late Russell Larson.
Robert is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, Kiara, Dylan, Kaleigh, Devon, Shaelyn, Owen, James, Ella, Eloisa and Delilah.
At his request all services will be private.
