BUXTON/LIMINGTON- We are sad to announce the passing of Eleanor (Edna) Allen of Buxton/Limington, at the age of 90. Edna passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Dec. 5, 2023.
Edna was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence (Sonny) Allen and her six siblings.
Survived by her son David Allen and his wife, Joyce; Mark Allen and his partner, Deb; four
grandchildren; twelve great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be
greatly missed by all.
Edna was a homemaker who loved camping and traveling with her husband. She always had
a smile that made others around her smile. She enjoyed wildlife and her favorite was chickadees.
She always had a warm hug for all.
She spent numerous hours doing word searches, puzzles, painting bird feeders and cigar boxes.
One funny thing about her was her love of ketchup... Don't anyone get in the way of her ketchup!
Hahaha!!
A memorial service will be held on Friday Dec. 29th at 2 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road (Rt.22) in Buxton.
After the service there will be a celebration of life at: Living Stone Community Church
