Obituary

STANDISH- Pamela Rachel Thombs, age 67, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family and friends on December 1, 2023 due to end stage COPD. She was born December 6, 1955 in Baldwin, Maine to Harvey "Raymond" Thombs Sr and Nancy Rozella (Crawford, Thombs) Kimball. She was the wife of Donald R. Dyer Jr they shared an amazing 32 years together.

Pamela loved to love on everyone. Pamela was a dedicated Mother first and foremost. She Treasured her Son and embraced every moment with him. She especially loved her role as a Mimi. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends wherever she went. She was well known for always playing the lottery, enjoyed going on long bike rides or even a ride in the truck upta camp to see the bison with Donald and sister Edie, she also enjoyed going for visits to the Maine Cabin Masters. Anyone who knew Pam knows how much she enjoyed being outside whether it was just sitting on her deck or out playing with her son,grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed Bingo, roller skating, watching Soccer, Nascar and the Yankees. She worked at the Hole Donut and New Britain Candy in New Britain Ct, she then went on to work at American Tool in Gorham where she met her soulmate.

She is survived by spouse Donald Dyer Jr, Son Kyle R. Dyer and Wife Lauren Dyer, grandchildren Rylie N. Dyer and Oliver A. Dyer. Mother in Law Pauline Dyer, Sister in law Lisa Dyer and partner Dan, Brother Harvey Thombs Jr and partner Denise of Brownfield, Sister Edie Martell of Steep Falls, Sister Mary Sutter and spouse John of N. Baldwin, Sister Jude Fenderson and spouse Jesse of N. Baldwin, Brother Don Thombs and spouse Debbie of Buxton, Brother John Thombs and spouse Darlene of Sebago. Niece Melissa St. Hilaire and great nephew Spencer Black, great nephew Eddie Black, great niece Charity Richards, Great great nephew Camdan Levasseur, great great niece Kayli Thibodeau. Niece Mandy Gammon and spouse Tony, great niece Paige Irish, great nephew Mikael Irish and partner Kaitlynn and great great nephew Corey. Great Niece Reagan Gunas and partner Hunter and great great nephew Wyatt. Great Niece Jada Gunas and partner Ally. Niece Brandy Thombs and partner Rick. Nephew Little Donnie Thombs and spouse Jamie, Great nieces Meghan, Julia and Shelby. Along with many more nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents Harvey Thombs and Nancy Kimball. Her Step Son Jeffery A. Dyer. Niece Michelle St. Hilaire, Father in Law Donald R Dyer Sr., Brother in Law Steve Martell, Nephew Bim Black and Nephew Ryan Smith. Her dogs Brandy and Buddy.

In the early summer there will be a celebration of life for all of Pamela's family and friends to come together in honor of her amazing Life she had.
