Louis N. Catro of Northbridge, MA passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family Saturday, December 2, 2023. He was born October 31, 1927 in Franklin, Ma where he resided until 2017 when he moved in with his daughter & son-in-law.
He was the son of Nicholas Catro & Mary (Vince) Catro. He is preceded in death by his brother Samuel L. Catro of Franklin, MA.
He is survived by his daughter Sheri Frabotta and her husband Tony, granddaughter Skylar Catro, former wife Thelma Catro of Northbridge, MA, cousin Antoinette Russell of Nashua NH, Joseph Vince of Randolph VT, and several other cousins.
Louis was a World War II Veteran. Avid fisherman, he loved fishing on Cape Cod Canal.
He was employed in the baking industry for many years retiring from Wonder Bread Bakery in 1992.
He was an amazing dad and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
Viewing will be held at the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St Franklin, Saturday December 9, 2023 from 1-3 pm.
Funeral will be held Tuesday December 12, 2023 at 11:30 am at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA.
