Ronnie G. "Ron" Hill peacefully passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at home with family by his side. He was the husband of Carolyn (DeSouza) Hill.
Ron was born in Los Angeles, CA son of the late Hubert W. and Sylvia O. (Thompson) Hill and had resided in Little Compton since 1989. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Prior to retirement, he owned/operated Ron's Pool Service. He was a communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Little Compton. He enjoyed gardening and took great pride in his yard. He also enjoyed a cold beer or two with the nephews. Ron and Carolyn loved taking road trips with their beloved dog, Oona, in the back seat. Ron was a great Dad and a wonderful "Papa" to his grandchildren.
Survivors along with his wife include his son: David A. Hill and his wife Juli of CA; his daughter: Lori J. Eden and her husband Michael of TX; brother: Steven Hill of CA; 2 sisters: Roxanne Kirkendall of CA and Sandra Ono of HI; 6 grandchildren: Jessica, Jordan, Julianne, Jaycee, Jake and Cassidy; 4 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Gary Hill and Robert Hill.
Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, December 14, 2023 at St. Catherine of Siena Church at 10:00 A.M.
Interment to follow in Hillside Cemetery, Tiverton.
