Alberto Diaz ‘Berto’ Santiago Garcia, 28 of Lowell, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 23, 2023 at Saint Vincent’s Hospital in Worcester, surrounded by his family.
He was born on April 5, 1995 in Worcester and was a son of Angel Santiago of Lowell; and stepson of Samantha Frazier of Lowell and Johnneene Hatch of Lowell. He was raised in Lowell where he attended the area schools, graduating from Greater Lowell Voke.
Berto found joy in working on cars and listening to music. Most importantly, he cherished moments spent with his family, particularly with his brothers.
In addition to his father and stepmother's, he is survived by his five brothers, Chase, Jayden, Zayne, Angel Jr., and Julian; his grandmother, Elizabeth Frazier of Lowell; his grandfather, Alcids Santiago of Auburn; his aunt, Monique King of Lowell; and his best friend, Ashley Nadeau of Lowell.
