WEST NEWFIELD- Paul R. Farnsworth, age 75 passed away on November 30th, 2023, at his home after a brief illness.
Paul was born in Beverly Massachusetts on March 14th 1948, son of Eva Hultgren and Raymond Farnsworth. He was raised in Danvers and graduated from Danvers High School, class of 1967. He met his beloved future wife Diane (Connors) and was dedicated to her. Paul was an army veteran during the Vietnam War. After the service, Paul attended trade school for stone masonry and created a life working in this occupation.
He married Diane and they lived in North Reading for many years before retiring to West Newfield, Maine. Paul was very artistic and a hard-working person that created many beautiful stone and brick masonry structures in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Maine. He loved to compete in sports and had many outdoor interests and hobbies that he excelled at.
Paul is predeceased by his wife Diane, survived by his son Erik Farnsworth of Melrose, Massachusetts; daughter Shawna Farnsworth and Jon Fredriksen of Beverly, Massachusetts, Mother Eva Hultgren of Middleton, Massachusetts, sister Susan Farnsworth of Peabody, Massachusetts; sister Pamela Dagley and Steven Dagley of Freedom, New Hampshire; brother David Farnsworth of Haverhill, Massachusetts; sister Lisa Osgood and James Osgood of Middleton, Massachusetts; Karen Farnsworth of Middleton, Massachusetts; several nieces and nephews; and two grandchildren-Isabella Farnsworth and Luke Farnsworth, both of Melrose, Massachusetts.
A celebration of life service will be held at a future date.
