WORCESTER___Aniela (Wojtala) Jaskowska, 78, of Worcester passed away surrounded by her family on Monday November 27, 2023 in UMASS – Memorial Medical Center, University Campus.
Mrs. Jaskowska is survived by her husband, Bronislaw Jaskowski; three daughters, Ania Liszewski, Kasia and Slawek Karnacewicz and Mirka Welcz as well as five grandchildren: Krzysiu, Marcin and Raquel, Sandra, Ola and Maciej, and Oskar. Aniela also leaves her beloved beagle, Mickey. Aniela was born and raised in Poland with five brothers. She was the daughter of the late Jozef and Lucja (Herman) Wojtala and came to Brooklyn, New York in 1994. Aniela is also survived by nieces and nephews here and in Poland.
Mrs. Jaskowska was a housekeeper for several years for Worcester Academy before retiring. Previously she had worked for PresMet Corp. Aniela was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may gather with her family on Saturday December 9, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral Mass. HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL SERVICE, 33 Ward St, is assisting the family.
