Mary Jo McNeely 63 Passed away on Tuesday November 21, 2023, in Ventura, ca. She was born in Spokane, WA to Mark and Josephine Gunning, on April 30, 1960. She attended high school at North Central High and graduated in 1978.
She enjoyed Summers, at their family lake resort in Twin Lakes, Idaho and in addition to Camping, Snow and water skiing, riding snowmobiles in the winter with friends, swimming, playing cards, going dancing with friend Toni, Shopping, playing practical jokes on family and friends, spending Christmas with family. Mary Jo and I volunteered and participated in many MS Society events.
Mary Jo is survived by her husband - Mark McNeely, Children- Justin McNeely (Alyssa) Trever McNeely (Monica) Mother - Josephine Gunning, Sister's - Ginnie Hawkinson (Tom) Margie O'harra, Brother's - Paul Gunning (Terri) David Gunning. Grandchildren - Aaliyah, Bella, Jakob, Anthony. Sister in-law's - Debra Hawley (Shawn) Brenda McNeely, Terri Gunning, Brother in-law's - Vin McNeely (Karrie) Tom Hawkinson. Nieces - Jennifer, Ami, Amber, Jackie, Jessica, Randi, Sarah, Samantha, Tabitha, Ciera, Lexi. Nephew's - Jeffrey, Kelly, Jimmie, Jared, Michael, Eric, David, Ven, Jordon. Cousin's - Patty Anderson, Kathleen Barnes, John & Bob Bafaro and many Great Niece's and Nephew's.
She was preceded in death by her Father- Mark D Gunning; Brother's- Dan Cress, Mickey Gunning; Cousins; Patrick Wimmer, Ann Heiliger; Father in-law- Edwin McNeely; Mother in- law- Renee Diaz; Niece; Ashley Lynch.
Services will be held at: The Lighthouse Church at 8699 Henderson Rd. Ventura, ca 93004 on January 27, 2024, at 11am, a celebration of life reception will follow the service and information flyers with Maps will be available at the church service.
