Obituary



Mary T. (Brassil) Luzzo, -- of Lexington, passed away on November 30th. She was 76. Born in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Toomey) Brassil. Mary met her husband of 54 years, Vincent, in 1967. They married in 1969 and were inseparable from then on. They had 2 sons, Vincent and Christopher. They traveled the world together with family and friends, living life to the fullest.

Mary was one of 14 children; her late brothers Jack, Paul, Jimmy, and Richard, and sisters Margaret, Rita, Dorothy, and Maureen. She is survived by her brothers Thomas, Robert, Freddie, Joseph, and William. Mary was incredibly energetic and was passionate about exercising even into her 70’s, swimming, playing pickleball and walking miles a day through nature trails.

Mary will always be remembered for her kindness, generosity and big heart. She leaves us with countless wonderful memories . She was a loving and protective mother, sister, wife, and friend.

Mary was the beloved wife of 54 years to Vincent Luzzo. She was the devoted mother of Vincent Luzzo, and Chris Luzzo and his wife Myriam Latanzi. Mary is also survived by many loving siblings, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Friday, December 8th from 10 AM to 12 PM with a service at noon. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
