Joan M. (Peterson) (Pierce)DosSantos age 82 of Brockton died November 29, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was born in Brockton a daughter of the late Walter and Grace (Giguere) Peterson and remained a lifelong resident of the city.
A 1959 graduate of Brockton High School, Joan had been a secretary for several local charitable organizations. She also hosted Avon Home parties and Friendly Home Toy parties. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, traveling, trips to the beach, shopping and helping the elderly. Joan was a social butterfly with a zest for life.
She loved all people and was proud of her family especially her sons and grandchildren.
Joan was the loving mother of Steven Pierce and his wife Cathy of E. Bridgewater and their children Sean and Sara and grandchild Charlotte: Ronald Pierce and his wife Tina Patricelli of Brockton and their children Jagger Patricelli and the late Starr: Harry Pierce and his wife Sharon of Brockton and their children Nicole Young, Jessika Pierce, Jenna Pierce and grandson Christopher Young and the late John Pierce and his son John Allen Pierce. Joan was the sister of Linda Peterson, Barbara Braasch and Nancy Ferreira in addition to many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday December 5, 2023 from 4-7pm in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA. Burial will be at a later date.
