Mary M. Schroth, a former longtime resident of Woburn, passed away peacefully, Friday, December 1, 2023, at the age of 93. Born in Somerville she was the daughter of the late Beaumont C. and Mildred M. (Fitzgerald) Wisdom.
Mary worked for many years as Program Reading Aid with Somerville Public School System. A job she truly loved. However, her greatest joy was her family and nothing gave her more joy than spending time with them and being surrounded by those she loved.
Mary is survived by her children, Maureen Onessimo and her husband Mike of Wilmington, Michael Schroth and his wife Elizabeth of Woburn, and Steven Wisdom. She was the loving grandmother of Samantha Onessimo and Shawn Onessimo. Sister of Sr. Louise Wisdom LSP of Kansas City, MO, the late Theresa baker, the late Frank Wisdom and his late wife Mary. She is the aunt of James Baker, Laurene Baker, Tom, Jim, and Richard Wisdom, and the late Ronald Baker.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend an hour of visiting at the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Wednesday, December 6th, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church 280 Main St. Woburn, at 10 a.m. Interment services will be private.
