Keira Marie Gamboa, 48, of Pawtucket, RI passed away unexpectedly on November 26, 2023.
Born in New Bedford, daughter of Richard and Carmen (Woodard) Gamboa, she lived in New Bedford most of her life.
Keira had an amazing personality with a contagious spirit and was the most loyal friend. She loved to be photographed, dancing, being around family, and was a comedian always teasing all the little children who she loved dearly. She loved her children, grandchildren, and her family.
Survivors include her parents; her step-father James "Elvis" Roderiques; her companion and best friend, Leonor "Lulu" Medina; her children, Tyra Walker, Erika Gamboa, Tyrell Gamboa, Javon Leao, and Jade, Denzel, and Jordyan who she called her own; her grandchildren, Zyahni, Kristian, Anayla, Jaycean, Alijah, Sayyora, Romi, Alivia, and Asai; her siblings, Shannon Gamboa-Monteiro, Tara Martinez, Ryan Gamboa, her twin Erika Gamboa-Mason and her husband Peter Mason, and Jodi Aurora and her husband Eriston Aurora; her Godmother Bonita Ward; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is predeceased by her grandparents, Grant Woodard, Alice Tolentino, Firmina Brito Chiclana, Peter Cruz; her niece Tatiana Lee Aurora Pina; and her Godfather, Anthony Monteiro.
Keira's Funeral Service will be held at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford on Tuesday, December 5th at 10 AM. Guests are invited to arrive at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Her visitation will be held on Monday from 4-8 PM.
